Profile: Guatemalan coffee beans are selected from the Antigua region of Southern Guatemala. This bean type is full bodied and moderate in acidity. You will find this bean to be almost chocolaty with hints of smoke when roasted to a deeper color. Guatemala coffee beans are an excellent bean with which to start. Blending Tips: With the moderate acidity associated with the Guatemalan bean try blending with a brighter bean such as the Tanzanian Peaberry or Sumatra. These two brighter acidy beans will add complexity and longer finish in the cup.
